From Quincy to Danville! We want you!   Illinois is rich with talented artists and we want to showcase them in the second annual "Art of Illinois" at Joliet's Gallery Seven, 116 N. Chicago St.  We are seeking artists over 18 years of age, living in Illinois, to exhibit their work in a show highlighting the immensely talented artists from Illinois.    "The Art of Illinois," a juried fine art show, is accepting submissions of 2d and 3d work until August 15th. Don't delay! Submit today!  For the Prospectus visit www.galleryseven.net  (under Events and Information) All media except film/video are welcome. Notifications of acceptance will be sent the week of August 28th.   Gallery Seven is celebrating Illinois' Artists Month-October. Exhibit dates are October 2nd to 31st, with a reception on Saturday, October 7th, 6-8 p.m.   Let's rock this October Artists' Month with artwork from across the state. Make sure you are a part of this exciting exhibit!   Gallery Seven is managed by a group of local artists, located at 116 N. Chicago St., Suite 102, next to the Historic Rialto Square Theatre, downtown Joliet.  This free gallery is open to the public 10-4, Monday to Friday, and 10-noon the first Saturday of the Month. PAL normally meets the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm at the Plainfield Public Library 15025 S. Illinois St. Plainfield, IL 60544, check our website at www.plainfieldartleague.org for details.  These monthly meeting are free and open to the public. Meeting location is handicapped accessible.
