***FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE*** The Plainfield Art League would like to invite you to our February meeting and Open to the public One Night Show on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, from 7pm to 8:45pm at the Plainfield Library in the lower level meeting room.(NOTE: location change).
This months demonstration is ID Yourself (show and tell) and Critique of your artwork. Members and the public are invited to spend up to 5 minutes describing yourself as an artist and a person including background information so the membership gets to know you a little bit better. Be sure to bring in some of your artwork and describe in detail how the artwork was achieved. Also available will be a Critique of your artwork, where areas that impressed and areas that did not, along with suggestions to make a difference may be provided. You may also ask about a specific problem you are having, Plainfield Art League has many experienced members that have expertise in oil, water color, acrylic, and other painting techniques as well as expertise in photography techniques and printing. So please bring in your artwork and discuss it with us. And Don't forget to bring a piece of your artwork to be entered into The One Night Show!

Please come early to ensure you get a seat. Light refreshments will be provided. Plainfield Art League's demonstrations are free and open to the public. Note location change. This meeting is not at American House Cedarlake-AHC. The meeting will be at the Plainfield Library which is located at 15025 South Illinois St., Plainfield IL 60544. The facility is handicapped accessible, so don't let that stop you from joining the group in a fun and interesting night.
