June 6th 7pm meeting, demo and ONS open to the public at American House Cederlake-AHC demo by Mike Bessler on Photograph your own art and 360 photography
Mike will go through how to take a photo of your own artwork using your camera and common/cheap/free lighting techniques, so bring your camera and some artwork to copy. Then he will show you how to edit this photo in Lightroom on your pc and sometimes cell phones to produce an excellent copy. You should be able to print and sell these copies(giclee's) or use these digital negatives on your website.
Mike will then go over the basics of 360 spherical photography. Google Street view is one common example of 360 photography.
Bring your camera and your artwork to copy.
Mike Bessler's passion is to create enhanced photographs on canvas that will capture the awe of nature. He particularly enjoys creating and printing very large images that combine his artistic vision with his technical expertise. Last year Mike became a Google Local Guide level 10 of 10 and a Google Trusted Photographer. These designations require expert knowledge in the use of 360 degree spherical photography.

Go to PAL's Flickr site below to see pictures of our latest Community Center exhibit and the Alliance of Fine Art Best of the Best Awards Ceremony.
The public as well as members are invited to participate in "A One Night Show" (ONS) that will also take place during the meeting. Each attendee (members and non-members) should bring in one artwork to display to everyone at the meeting. The best judged artwork will receive a ribbon. Remember, bringing in an artwork for the ONS is a defensive move as the judge is chosen from those that do NOT bring in a piece. How's that for an unveiled threat!
