Bring your own colored pencils and join us as we explore Colored Pencil Art. Anne is a Colored Pencil artist from Shorewood and an instructor for Beech Tree Studio. Introduced to colored pencil art in 2013, she found an immediate attraction and connection to this medium. The ability to create photo-realistic pictures with an emphasis on detail and color appealed to Anne. For the past 5-1/2 years, she has created a growing collection of over 50 Colored Pencil pieces. From landscapes to portraiture, still life to wildlife, Anne has captured each subject with precision and the appreciation for shape, shadow, color, and composition. The challenges of learning new techniques and using a variety of unique surfaces keep Anne expanding her knowledge in this popular art form.
